The Guild members were able to buy from their funds a trolley which has been modified so that stacks of chairs can be moved from the Hall to the Church with ease. The trolley is now in use. Two wall heaters have been installed in the Chancel.
Mission news: $1105.31 in the bank. Sums will go towards the Leprosy Hospital in Nepal and to the Parish project - clean water in Papua New Guinea.
The gutters have been repaired at St Paul's Chapel, Myalla, thanks to Dr Gwyneth Cheeseman who met the costs. A traditional service was held with familiar well-known hymns, important to the small congregation.
The Parish Council met on the 12th July. The question of a digital projector is still under consideration as heating in the Choir area of the church. The driveway between the church and Spencer Park Units is to be relayed.
The vacuum cleaner at the Hall needs to be replaced.
A new sound system is to be considered in consultation with an expert.
The 'servo', ie the corner site opposite the church, has been the object of interest of several potential tenants. An agreement for up to a 2-year lease is under consideration.
The Treasurer is looking into cheaper copyright possibilities for the 'song book', ie the handout of modern hymns.
