MOUNT LYELL COPPER DIVISION

POLICY AND PROCEDURES

SUBJECT: TWENTY-FIVE YEARS SERVICE CLUB

The club shall consist of employees and ex-employees of the Mount Lyell Mining and Railway Company Limited who have attained twenty-five years continuous service with the company

"Continuous service" means service commencing from the last starting date of the employee concerned.

"Employees" shall include members of the Staff, whether male or female.

1. Initial full membership of the club shall be restricted to those employees who have attained twenty-five years continuous Service and who were on the company's books at 30th June, 1970.

2. In succeeding years. any employee attaining twenty-five years continuous service shall be advised in writing of his/her admission to the Club as soon as practicable after the anniversary of twenty-five years continuous service.

Members so admitted shall be invited to the next annual dinner where his/her presentation shall be made.

3. Membership of the club will be marked by the presentation of a suitably inscribed gold wristlet watch which shall be a gift of the company.

4. Presentations will be made at, and only at, an annual dinner arranged by the Company for members of the club.

5. Should an employee, who has been admitted to membership of the club, die before his/her presentation has been made, the presentation shall be made to his/her next of kin.

6. In all matters concerning the club the decision of the General Manager of the company shall be final and binding.
